Seal of Biliteracy Student 2026

Forty-one East Ramapo students earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy, a distinction awarded by the commissioner of education to graduates who have met the requirements for a Regents diploma and demonstrated a high level of proficiency in English and at least one additional language. In addition, six of those students also earned the New York State Seal of Civic Readiness, recognizing their achievement in civic knowledge, civic skills, civic mindset and civic experiences.

Spring Fling 2026

Spring is in the air, and so is the East Ramapo Family Resource Center’s Annual Spring Fling. Join us on Saturday, May 16, from 12 to 3 p.m. at Spring Valley High School for an afternoon of family-friendly fun featuring games, crafts, prizes, food and local vendors. Admission is free, so bring the whole family and enjoy a fun day together. Rain or shine, our FRC team will be there.

The first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week, and here in East Ramapo there are hundreds of dedicated educators who are there for our students, day in and day out.

National School Principals Day

May 1st is National School Principals Day, and we celebrate the 14 building leaders who dedicate themselves to East Ramapo's students, faculty and staff every day.
